Nineteen Bespoke Care is a company established by the Directors of Nineteen Recruitment, a company that has been supplying specialist temporary staffing to the social care sector for over a decade.
With a history in teaching and social work, Director Louise Burns has a passion for working with children and young people and saw an opportunity to establish a service that supported local authorities with bespoke care packages for children and young people who require emergency placements.
Decades working with children and young people, together with her background in supplying staff to work in children and young people’s services, gave Louise the knowledge and understanding required to establish a business that provides robust, compliant, and child focused unregulated placements for children and young people in emergency situations.
At Nineteen Bespoke Care there is a real focus on the child or young person. We strive to offer placements that make a difference rather than simply being an emergency solution that does the bare minimum. In addition to the comprehensive training program that our workers complete as standard, they receive in house training on the promotion of life skills, ensuring that time within the placement is used to support the child or young person to grow in independence, learn a new skill, or engage in a task that is positive and beneficial to their own development.
All of our emergency packages have management oversight delivered by our Package Manager. our Package Manager meets the children and young people and personally builds rapport with them. She is available to them at any time should they wish to discuss their care or any concerns they have. Our Package Manager delivers management oversight by visiting the placement in person on a regular basis, monitoring the quality of the paperwork and notes, attending care meetings, liaising with social workers and other professionals, and delivering regular supervision with the Support Workers.
